Your questions answered

Here are a few common questions I am asked.

If you have a question that’s not been listed here, please feel free to contact me and I will answer any questions you have.

In a variety of locations. Your sessions can be based in my own private gym in Worthing, virtually, an outside space in Worthing (please contact me to see if you are within my catchment area) or a combination of locations to fit in with your circumstances and lifestyle.

I offer 2 different options based on how much support you require. Blocks of either 12 or 24 sessions (personal training only) or to benefit from support and accountability away from your gym sessions, the bronze, silver and gold packages. These are set up on a rolling monthly contract (based on an initial 3 months).

That is entirely up to you and will be dependent on your goals. My aim is to teach you to be able to exercise independently (if you want to) not tie you in to a long term contract. Most of my clients train with me 2 – 3 times per week.

No. For one simple reason – they do not encourage you to be independent and are not long term sustainable. If you opt for either the silver or gold packages then we will work on your nutrition alongside the exercise. Life is about balance and I will wholeheartedly encourage you to eat your favourite foods and show you that you can still reach your goal.

After we have had our phone or video call consultation, we will meet for our first session. We will discuss your goals in more detail and do some basic assessments to ensure that we start at the point which is appropriate for you. You are ultimately in charge at your sessions – I will not force you to do anything which you don’t want to do and sessions will be delivered at your pace. I will be tweaking your exercise programme as we go along making sure that everything feels comfortable whilst still challenging. I promise that once you have done your first session the nerves will go!

Whilst I can normally work around existing injuries and help with rehabilitation, I am not medically trained to diagnose injury or illnesses. It is advisable to always consult your doctor before beginning an exercise programme if you have any existing health conditions or concerns.

Absolutely. Please contact me for more details on couples training.
